JOHNNY VEGA #4 MOVING AHEAD.
As you can see three finished pages from Johnny Vega #4 pages 17, 18 and 19. A collaborative effort on my part for all the computer color on the previous work on Vega. Many thanks to Adam Watson and Kat Meyers for editing the book.
WEEKLY DRAWINGS AND SKETCHES
On top of that here are a couple pencil drawings that I have done one in reference to Corpse Cop and the other Corrax the Seeker.
Corpse Cop might be turned into a scratchboard poster for a later date. the Corrax piece just gets filed under Sunday drawing/ Dental Bus Ride.
SCRATCHBOARD NEWS
The others are two scratchboard pieces. One was a quick down and dirty one for my friend Aron for his birthday and the other "Trust Me" is a for a Valentine's Day art show yep you guessed it, "The Love Show". That piece is a 11"X14" for $175.00.
All in all a busy couple days for this weekend.
And I am out of here and back to the drawing board.

The beginning of 2010 for B.B.C.
It is the beginning of the new year and I thought that I should for Black Box Comix write something and post as well.
So here I am.
The one thing that I have been doing is not sitting on my laurels as they say but anything else other than that.
I have been over the last couple of months both writing stories for myself and other collaborators with their characters like my friend Bratty Ben here on deviant art with his main character Heavy Horse and my character Corvis Corrax (a.k.a. The Seeker) and illustrating thumbnails for a couple different stories (another crossover with my friend Jason Pott of Neo Trash Comix and our two characters
The Future of MotF?
One of the things that has always been a fascination with comics is how do you illustrate something that you can't really see?
Its been a problem with Johnny Vega Man of the Future. And Corrax: the Seeker isn't any different. Its always a problem but in this case with the world or rather the universe of Man of the Future. And with so many baddies out there with mind control and force of will I needed a character that could deal with them and show off at the same time.
Corvis was the perfect choice with this. The huge back log of information from Vega and his eventual end, Corrax had to fill the void. There has
Things of Art and crossovers
Work on the books for Vega have been arduous at best.
The cross over for the Ghost Assassin and Johnny Vega cross over has been a long hard climb uphill but well worth the wait as that the amount of detail and other that has been slaved over is now nearly at a completed end.
What that means is that there is another Johnny story completed in his universe AND also answers the question of the origin of one his major villains.
I ain't saying who but he been around as long as Vega.
Shows also have been a work impediment. And this year that amount of shows has gone up like nothing before.
Personally I would love to be able just to work on
Been too long away
Al here with the latest:
NEWFLASH next weekend Black Box Comix along with Neo trash comics and Darkslinger Comics will all be traveling up to the Emerald City ComiCon. In the Emerald City known as Seattle this month on the 14th and 15th.
I haven't been coming back to the site as much as I would like to post material that I am currently working on but I have been driving myself to turn out a bunch of more finished pages of digital artwork than I have before as well as producing scratchboard art to sell for commisions and cranking out a mini comic "Corpse Cop" for an idea for horror comics.
All in all a busy couple of months since Chri
